The Rome Film Festival (Festa del Cinema di Roma) is an annual international film festival held in Rome, Italy, typically in October. It is one of the most prestigious film events in Italy, alongside the Venice Film Festival. The Rome Film Fest was born in 2006 and in just a few years it has established itself on the world cinema scene, positioning itself among the main major events in the sector. Hundreds of actors, directors and protagonists from the world of cinema, art and culture have paraded on the red carpet of the Auditorium Parco della Musica.

The twentieth edition of the Rome Film Festival will be held from October 15 to 26, 2025. In the days preceding the inauguration, the Festival hosts a series of preview screenings open to the public in various locations around the city. The Rome Film Festival is known for its sophisticated red carpet, elegant atmosphere, and engaging film discussions. It differs from other European festivals by emphasizing a more audience-friendly, open approach, rather than being strictly industry-focused
