Arrive in Florence. On arrival, our driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel to become acquinted with Florence at your leisure. Rome & the Vatican

It’s time to say goodbye to Florence and hello to the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, you’ll venture out on a spiritual tour to learn about the centuries of history within the walls of the Vatican City. Beginning with the Vatican Museums, you’ll take the beautiful spiral staircase to see the various rooms and galleries. You’ll then explore the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo before having some free time to visit St Peter’s Basilica.

Discover Imperial Rome

After a free morning, you’ll enjoy an afternoon tour of ancient Rome on foot. Beginning at Piazza Venezia, you’ll then head to the famous Piazza Del Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo, where you’ll have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. You will then head to the Circus Maximus, which is one of the largest sporting arenas ever built. The finale to this tour is a visit inside the iconic Colosseum, where your guide will explain all the intricacies of this glorious landmark.

Tour of Classic Rome

Today, you’ll explore some of Rome’s most iconic sights on this tour of classic Rome with your local guide. You’ll begin your stroll through the historic centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo di Montecitorio and Palazzo Madama – the seat of the Senate and Piazza Navona. You’ll also visit the Pantheon, an icon of Italy, as well as Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps and, finally, Piazza Venezia.

Villa Borghese Gardens & Museum

Finish Rome on an artistic high with a tour of the magical Villa Borghese. Onwards to Sorrento

Upon arrival in Sorrento, you’ll have the afternoon free to yourself to relax in luxury or go exploring. You may want to visit Piazza Tasso, a large piazza that is one of the busiest and most popular areas in Sorrento. We also recommend visiting Via San Renato, which is the colourful weekly street market.

Pompeii Archaeological Site

Discover the remnants of Pompeii on this guided tour that takes you back in time to the 1st century. This famed archaeological site was once a thriving port town but was buried under many layers of ash following the same historic eruption by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD that destroyed Pompeii. Lying undiscovered for many years, the city was miraculously well preserved and offers a contrasting view of ancient life compared to Pompeii.

Explore Capri

Today, you can soak up the sun with a tour of the nearby island of Capri. Known as the ‘Pearl of the Mediterranean’, Capri offers high-end shopping and staggering natural beauty.
