Day 1: Welcome to Italy!

Your Italy multi-city tour begins in North Italy with 3 nights in the winter sports resort of Cortina, which is known as the Queen of the Dolomites. This fashionable winter ski resort is a favorite among the European elite as it boasts sublime mountain scenery, a range of ski tracks, and plenty of chic bars and restaurants. The resort sits in the Ampezzo Valley and while skiing is popular in the winter, Cortina is wonderful for scenic hiking in the summer months. These will be full days for you to explore Cortina at leisure, perhaps enjoying skiing in the winter months or hiking in the summer.

Day 4: Experience the coastal serenity of Liguria

After spending 3 nights appreciating the mountain scenery of Cortina, it's time to experience a different face of Italy on the iconic Ligurian coast. You will travel by first-class train from Verona to Genoa, where our private guide will be waiting to greet you for a fascinating guided tour of Genoa. During this two-hour walking tour, you will have the opportunity to explore this chic city, including its UNESCO-protected site and impressive landmarks. In particular, we think you will delight in Palazzi dei Rolli and Via Garibaldi, as well as the many decadent palaces. Day 5: Cinque Terre walking tour

Day 6: VIP wine tasting with Piedmont and Liguria wines

Day 7: And so to Tuscany

It’s time to say goodbye to the Cinque Terre and experience some of the best country scenery in all of Italy with 4 nights in Tuscany. Day 8: Tuscany tour with wine tasting in Chianti

Treat your senses to a decadent tour through the Chianti countryside, featuring rolling hills, vineyards and some of the most beautiful landscape in Italy. On this seven-hour group tour, you will stop by charming villages, such as Montepulciano, and also enjoy world-famous red wine at a local estate. Day 9: VIP tour of Florence's art galleries

Day 11: Step back in time in Rome

Today you will travel by first-class train from Tuscany to Rome, allowing you to step into the history of Italy and discover iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Vatican City. Upon arrival in Rome, the afternoon and evening will be yours to explore the city at leisure.

Day 12: VIP tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum

Today, our expert guide will take you on a journey back in time on a tour of Rome’s ancient sights, including the Fori Imperiali, Roman Forum, Augustus Domus and, finally, the epic and glorious Colosseum. As a part of this exclusive experience, you will enjoy two hours in the Colosseum on an in-depth guided tour that includes special access to the upper tier and fascinating underground level.

Day 13: Leisure day
