Syracuse

This Sicily and Sardinia beach vacation begins in the unique coastal town of Syracuse in Sicily, which is not far from Catania on the island's east coast. The town is famous for its vibrant wine and features glorious sea views, looking out onto the glistening waters of the Ionian Sea. As well as plenty of time to relax on the beach (we love Plemmirio), we highly recommend taking some time to visit the Syracuse vineyards to sample local Moscato di Siracuse wine, which is made exclusively with the divine Moscato Bianco grapes that are grown in the region. Trapani

We continue this Italy beach vacation with a visit to the coastal town of Trapani, which is not far from Palermo (Sicily's capital) on the island's west coast. The town is famous for its glorious coastal vistas and sea views thanks to its priviledged position on the coast looking out onto the peace and tranquility of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town has a particularly friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal beach resort for a relaxing vacation. As well as a beautiful port where quaint fishing boats bob in the water, there are many quiet beaches to explore and our favourite is Tonnarella dell'Uzzo in the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Here, you can enjoy sun-soaked landscapes and golden beaches immersed in lush vegetation to give you a feeling of complete peace in nature. Cagliari

Here, you will have time to relax on one of the glorious beaches, such as Cala Cipolla in the Domus de Maria resort, which features sublime tropical white sand and emerald green waters, and is surrounded by a fragrant Mediterranean garden, making it the perfect choice for a summer honeymoon. Orosei
