Day 1: Welcome to Italy!

Experience luxury as soon as you arrive in this beautiful country with a private car transfer from the airport to your hotel in the heart of Florence.

Day 2: Exclusive tour of Florence, including the Uffizi and Accademia art galleries

Immerse yourself in the Renaissance with a full-day tour of Florence, including a special guided tour of the Gallerie dell’Accademia, where you'll find the glorious and imposing sculpture of “David” by Michelangelo. This statue is a symbol of the power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic and is an unmissable spot on your vacation in Italy. After discovering the delights of the Accademia you will be treated to a delightful lunch in an authentic Florentine restaurant and then, in the afternoon, you will discover a wealth of artistic masterpieces with a tour of the Uffizi Gallery, which is one of the most important art museums in the world. Day 3: Wine tasting in the Chianti region

Day 4: Transfer to Rome and tour of the ancient city sights

It's time to say goodbye to your retreat in the Tuscan countryside and take your reserved seat on a first-class train heading south to the captivating city of Rome, where you'll be greeted by one of our professional drivers at Rome station, who will take you to your elegant and centrally-located hotel. After some time to settle in you’ll be treated to a guided tour of this incredible city, featuring Piazza del Quirinale, Piazza Colonna, the Column of Marcus Aurelius, intricate fountains in Piazza Navona, the immense Pantheon and the extravagant Trevi Fountain, before returning to your hotel and enjoying the vibrant evening atmosphere of this ancient capital.

Day 5: Discover Vatican City

Join our expert tour guide on a wonderful journey to the world’s smallest sovereign state and one of the most important stretches of land in Western history as you cross the border into Vatican City. Start your adventure at the door of St Peter’s Basilica, one of the largest religious buildings in the world and a crowning example of Renaissance architecture, where, once inside, you can discover spectacular art from Michelangelo and Bernini. After enjoying the delights of St Peter’s, you’ll enter the Vatican Museums, which are filled with rare artefacts and priceless masterpieces, including ancient Greek statues and Renaissance frescoes that are simply waiting for you to discover them. Day 6: VIP tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum

After a morning of leisure, our expert guide will take you on a journey back in time on a tour of Rome's ancient sights, including the Fori Imperiali, Roman Forum, Augustus Domus and, finally, the epic and glorious Colosseum. You will enjoy two hours in the Colosseum on an in-depth guided tour that includes special access to the upper tier and fascinating underground level.

Amalfi Coast

Day 7: Transfer to Positano on the Amalfi Coast

Recline on a first-class train to Naples station, where you will be greeted by our professional driver, who will whisk you in a modern and clean car to your hotel in Positano on the glorious Amalfi Coast.

Day 8: Pompeii and Herculaneum

Discover the historic city of Pompeii, which was lost for nearly 2000 years beneath a blanket of ash following an ancient volcanic eruption. You will enjoy a full-day guided tour of this fascinating region, which is considered to be one of the few sites where an ancient city has been preserved in detail, yielding an unprecedented opportunity to see how people lived 2000 years ago. Day 9: Relaxing boat excursion of the Capri coast

As a delightful highlight of your Italy vacation, on this memorable boat excursion you’ll sail from Amalfi on a tranquil cruise in mesmerizing waters around the stunning island of Capri, known widely as the Pearl of the Mediterranean thanks to its sandy beaches, secret caves and turquoise sea, as well as its breath-taking coastal landscapes. Here you can bask in the Mediterranean sunshine as you recline on the boat and take in natural wonders, such as the famous “Faraglioni” rocks that define Capri’s coastline, as well as Salto di Tiberio and the Punta Carena Lighthouse. The morning sees you leaving Italy on your flight from Naples airport back home.
